Small and medium-sized enterprises have always been and will continue to be at the heart of our economic development and future prosperity. SMEs play a vital role in driving innovation, creating jobs, and fostering economic growth. The work of SME4Labour is crucial when it comes to bringing together business and policy that enable SMEs to thrive. I am delighted to be a part of this event and I wholeheartedly share the group’s view that there is a bright future ahead under our new Government. I also thank SME4Labour for their support, particularly during the recent general election and further thank them for their continued advocacy for SMEs, who are truly the backbone of our economy and which are abundant in my constituency. As we move forward, it is essential that we continue to listen to the voices of SMEs and work together to create policies that address their unique challenges and opportunities. Tonight is a celebration of all of the work SME4Labour has done, and I look forward to seeing the fruits of their future efforts which I am sure will only continue to drive a better economic outlook.
