SME4Labour is delighted to invite Labour councillors to a free Councillors’ Lunch taking place during this year’s Labour Party Conference in Liverpool.
Labour councillors are at the heart of our movement. Every day, they work tirelessly on the frontline—representing communities, protecting vital public services, supporting local businesses and putting Labour values into action in towns and cities across the country.
Councillors also have a unique and invaluable understanding of the challenges facing our high streets, small businesses and local economies. Their experience must be heard, shared and reflected more widely across our movement and in national policy discussions.
SME4Labour is committed to bringing together Labour councillors, MPs, policymakers, trade unionists and small business owners through events across the country. We believe councillors should have more opportunities to meet, coordinate, exchange ideas and learn from one another’s experiences in order to strengthen our shared work.
As part of our Labour Conference programme, we are pleased to host an informal lunch in Liverpool for Labour councillors from across the UK. This will be an opportunity to connect with colleagues, share experiences, build relationships and discuss how we can work together to better support our communities and local businesses.
The lunch is free to attend, but places are limited and advance registration is essential.
Date: Monday 28 September 2026
Time: 12:00 – 14:00
Venue: White Tiger Restaurant, Keel Wharf, Kings Dock, Liverpool L3 4FN
We very much hope you can join us.
With best wishes,
Councillor Ibrahim Dogus
