CEFTUS was delighted to host On the Edge of Justice: Women, Law and Resistance in Conversation at the UK Parliament, featuring prominent Turkish lawyer, author and women’s rights advocate Feyza Altun.

Drawing on her legal work, public advocacy and personal experiences, Altun offered powerful reflections on women’s access to justice, the barriers they continue to face and the courage required to challenge discrimination, abuse and entrenched inequalities.

The thoughtful conversation and lively contributions from the audience highlighted the importance of creating spaces in which women’s experiences can be heard and difficult questions about law, power, justice and resistance can be examined openly.
