An MEP has an EU funded allocation of visitors he or she can take to visit European Parliament throughout a Parliamentary year. Each visit must consist of a group of at least 10 people and an MEP is allowed a maximum of 5 visiting groups per year. The purpose of these visits is to help bridge the gap between EU citizens and European Parliament and to promote a better understanding of how it works. I aim to use my allocation in a diverse a way as possible, allowing different sectors of the community to experience the EU.
